Lent.
Lent - a time for reflection, a time for reconciliation, a time for repentence and change.
It just occurred to me during mass that yet another year has passed. It's Lent again. And every year the message has been the same, just put across in different variations. The question is, after all these years, have I really changed? Silly question probably, but why is it so easy to fall into sin (again and again) and yet so difficult to repent and change?
At Novena, Father Peter Wee reminded us that God will look at us for WHO WE ARE, not what we have. And this perhaps is a point where I can start. Who am I; what have I done/have been doing? Are all these acceptable to me; are all these acceptable to God?
Pray more charlene, you've got to pray more.
"Sanctify yourselves, then, and be holy; for I, the LORD, your God, am holy. Be careful, therefore, to observe what I, the LORD, who make you holy, have prescribed." ~ Leviticus 19:7-8
